Report Cards and Grading System

 

Report Cards: 
 
 
Report cards will be given out after each marking period (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th).  Your child's grade will be based upon both the paper/pencil tests as well as the one-on-one test given.

Grading Codes:
 
C - Consistently Demonstrates
D- Frequently Demonstrates
O- Occasionally Demonstrates
R-Rarely Demonstrates

Many children will receive a D in some of the reading areas.  Do not be alarmed, this is normal!  They are still developing readers and often confuse vowels when blending and reading sentences and stories.
