Meet the Teacher
Hello! I would like to take the opportunity to tell you a little bit about me!
I have been a member of the E.T. Hamilton community for many years as a substitute teacher, instructional associate, and classroom teacher. I met so many caring and excellent educators during my time at E.T. Hamilton. My dream was always to become a teacher, and the kind folks at E.T. Hamilton inspired me to follow that dream. I graduated from Rowan University in 2011 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Elementary Education and Writing Arts. I was so proud of my accomplishments!
I am very excited about being a fourth grade teacher at E.T. Hamilton School! It is my goal to provide all my students with the tools they need to succeed. Just as I was inspired to work hard to become an educator, I want to inspire my students to reach their goals and learn the joy of being a life-long learner.
My wonderful family supported me in my journey to become a teacher. I have been married to my husband, Mike, for twenty-five years. We have two daughters, Amanda and Thalia. We also have a twelve-year-old Labrador Retriever named Buddy.
Some of my favorite things:
Reading - I love a good mystery!!
Writing - I try to write like some of my favorite authors!!
Swimming - It's great exercise and so much fun!!
Halloween - I love the creativity of the costumes, decorating pumpkins, the colors of fall, and the treats!!
Popcorn - Love, love, love!
Most of all, I love to spend time with my family. We enjoy riding our bikes, taking Buddy to the dog park, and playing video and board games together.
I've told you a lot about myself. Now I can't wait to find out all about you!
